Introduction

This blog is about Universal Truth. Its purpose is to bring light to the underlying truth that is so easily passed over in our seemingly material existence. The material world is so obvious, so “in our face,” that we easily deny ourselves the deeper truth that supports, sustains, and is the source of the material world. All manifestation exists because of the unknown Source. All comes from the unseen Source.

Out of ignorance we take for granted what we see before our eyes and fail to see what lies beneath. The appearance we take to be real and busy ourselves with , leaves us barely able to stop and take a breath. We forget to pause and consider the wisdom of the ages, enjoining us to “know thyself.” We do not consider the wise ones, one of whom said, “And why do you worry about clothes? See how the lilies of the field grow. They do not labor or spin.

This book is an effort to gather in one place, the Universal Truth that permeates our world. These are the truths beneath the surface, hidden in inner space. The truths that are the source of the outer world. This book is based on the principle, “So within, so without.” For who and what we are pictures forth as the world we know. By necessity then, this book is about inner truth, the Source of all that we see in appearance as our outer world.

This book is for all mankind, whatever religion, whatever faith, believer or non-believer. Each and every one of us is, and we know we are. The only truth all of us, no matter what faith or no faith can acknowledge is that we know we are. Each of us begins with I Am. It is the common ground on which we all stand. In truth, I Am,  is the beginning, the middle and the end. We are created in the image and likeness of God, the I Am.

By necessity, this book is about inner principles. For it is these inner principles that are the Ground of Being, the source of all that comes into appearance. If we truly want to know what is going on in the world, if we truly want to know the truth, we need to go on the inward watch. The inward will reveal the truth, and the truth is what we need, for it is the Truth that will set us free.

There is, of course, no one path to the truth. There are many paths. It can only be said that all paths lead to the ultimate truth. Your individual path is not my path. Your neighbor’s path will not be your path. Even your inwardness will be experienced differently. Some come to the inner self through contemplative reading, some through meditation, some through music, and some through nature. It is only important to know that there is an inner path. Each of us has our own. We must respect our path, and in so doing, learn to respect each other’s path. But to know there is an inner path is the beginning of wisdom.

Ultimately we come to know that inner is outer; the I Am of one is the I Am of all. As each of us look inward and come to know the One, peace and harmony will reign.

Then we will all be striving to bring into being the wish of the ages, “as above, so below.
Anyone who feels imprisoned by their surroundings, in bondage to the world, should know that true freedom lies within. You may look here, you may look there, but the Kingdom of heaven will not be found until you look inside. For the kingdom of heaven is the knowledge of the I Am. The I Am is you.

This book is written with all humility, for without humility, without surrender to that inner knowing, it would be presumptuous to write such a volume. Please read it with your own being, asking the Source be with you in your seeking. If you do this, what truth is here will resonate. You will recognize it as your own. You are not asked for agreement in anything, only that you pay attention to what resonates in you. For what is Universal Truth will resonate in your own heart. You will know it as your own truth. Not the truth of this book, or any other.

At the end of your journey, this book, and all books will be put aside, as the truth really is within, and you will know it for yourself. Truth is unchangeable.
